Second event at Nihongo Center for the freshly started 2023 Autumn semester. Kyoto, as a lot of other places, is well know for its fall leaves spots. But this time, instead of heading to usual places crowded with tourists, we decided to get away from Kyoto city and went to Nagaokakyo on November 25th.

First things first, the places weren’t crowded, there were almost no foreign tourists, and most of the people we met were Japanese. Seconly, we couldn’t have a better timing to go there. Except for a little bit of rain early in the morning, the rest of the day was perfect and this is clearly a place we would recommend to experience the Japanese fall leaves near Kyoto.
