On Saturday, February 3rd, we held our first event in 2024, where we experience some winter sports with students in Miyama. This year, we are experiencing in Japan a a mild winter, and there was hardly any snow left at the foot of the mountain, but Tautasha, who cooperated with us to organize the event, took us to a mountain pass full of snow. Most of the students had never experienced so much snow and seemed so happy that they forgot how cold it was.
The sports we tried were cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. All the students had a lot of fun sliding through the course even though their feet were stuck in the snow!
